So, Andrew's father's child support was dropped. He was paying $50 week ($200 a month). Well, his parents were paying. Regardless, now that's another $200 drop in my monthly income. And Ashelyn's father hasn't paid a red cent in over a month. And my loser ass can't get a job. No one wants to give me a chance. So, I have no way to pay my rent, gas and electricity bill. If your electricity gets shut off for non payment, you automatically get an eviction notice. So, either way, I'm bound to get one-an eviction notice-because I can't pay either bill. And I told them back in September that I got a job and how much I was making. They have a copy of the letter. Because here, rent is 30% of your monthly income. I called them several times asking them when they were going to meet with me to adjust my rent and they kept saying they were still processing it (I was supposed to have this meeting back in August of 2008). When I got my job and I gave them the note saying how much I was making, she stamped it "date received" and that's when I first asked when we would have our meeting. We never had it and after I went out on disability and was terminated from my job, I got papers that said what my rent was (same as it has been for the last few years) I signed the papers because I was no longer working so the point of bringing it up again was stupid because I had already asked several times. So, they had several chances to adjust it and by the time they got to the paperwork I had been terminated and they hadn't adjusted my rent, even though they had the papers from my employer. The rent rate stated on the contract was the same as it was last year so I signed it. Now, they want retro pay for the 4.5 months I was working...at $736 a month, so that's $3,312 I owe them. What a crock of shit. Where am I going to come up with that. Part of me thinks they did this on purpose because they WANT a reason to evict me because I'm a pain in their ass. I had to contact HUDD because they refused to fix a huge crack in my ceiling and holes in my walls that were there when I moved in. HUDD requires that all the windows have working locks on them. NONE of mine do and I've called them to fix them and they haven't. I was putting a window "up" one day last summer because it was hot and the window fell backwards and hit me in the head because #1 it wasn't properly latched (they were broken) by the maintenance department and #2 because the lock didn't work. I called the on call maintenance guy and he told me to just put the window lock on and it wouldn't fall anymore (apparently this has happened to several residents, including my neighbor next door). Well, you see, I would have done this but the lock didn't work so I had to take that part of the window out. Even though I called constantly for them to fix it, they took their sweet time. This happened towards the end of the summer and they didn't fix it until October. So, I had to sleep in a cold ass room every night because if I put that part of the window back in, it could have fallen on me while I slept. (I had a King size bed at the time and there really weren't too many options as to where I could put it). I'm not having a good day...month...year...blah
