About Me

Hi, my name is Michelle. I'm a single mother to Andrew (10) and Ashelyn (6). I completed college in December of 2007 obtaining a degree in Chemical Dependency Counseling. I'm currently in a very new relationship with a wonderful man. My goal is to go back to college and earn my Bachelor's in Social Work; possibly my Master's. I would also love to get my CASAC (credentialed Alcoholism and Substance Abuse Counselor) someday. I'm discovering a new happiness in my life and the only thing I'm waiting for is to find a job so I can continue my career. I love my field of work and enjoy every minute of it. The rest you can find on my "complete profile". Any questions, feel free to ask :-)

Missed it...

Ahh, well, I missed NOT ME MONDAY this week. I was too busy having fun hiking. oh well. I'll just do my NOT ME'S next week. I had such a good time hiking. I almost stepped on a snake! I'm glad I didn't because he probably would have snapped around and bit me. And we were MILES and MILES away from a hospital. It would have taken an ambulance about 2 hours to get to us. E. was thinking it was a rattle snake. He lives in the woods, I guess he would know. He had a snake in his yard a few weeks ago...found it while he was raking leaves.

Came home again this morning to the neighbors crap in my garden. This time it went into the leaf pile in road that is swept up by the big truck that comes around. It was pieces of wood nailed together and sidewalk chalk. The maintenance guy keeps bugging me and asking me when I'm going to get my garden ready but I don't see the point if the kids are going to keep throwing junk in it. He even went next door and told her that if her kids continued to mess with my garden, she could get fined by the landlord and made to replace anything that gets destroyed. Her kid destroyed all but 3 of my sculpted garden bricks, my brand new grill (that I never got to use), and several of my pretty flowers last year. So, I figure...why bother this year? I'm going to be up North for most of the summer anyway. I'm not going to be home to tend to it or enjoy it. Hopefully, I'll be out doing fun things in the hot summer weather. I've already started to go out and do fun things in nature and I love it!
