About Me

Hi, my name is Michelle. I'm a single mother to Andrew (10) and Ashelyn (6). I completed college in December of 2007 obtaining a degree in Chemical Dependency Counseling. I'm currently in a very new relationship with a wonderful man. My goal is to go back to college and earn my Bachelor's in Social Work; possibly my Master's. I would also love to get my CASAC (credentialed Alcoholism and Substance Abuse Counselor) someday. I'm discovering a new happiness in my life and the only thing I'm waiting for is to find a job so I can continue my career. I love my field of work and enjoy every minute of it. The rest you can find on my "complete profile". Any questions, feel free to ask :-)

TIPS

Today, my nice deed will be to offer fellow bloggers some tips that I have accumulated along the way. There aren't many here because, of course, when you are trying to do something, you forget a lot of "stuff", but here are the ones that come to mind at the moment:

For longer lasting bread, place it in the fridge instead of on the counter!

To keep celery longer, wrap it in aluminum foil and place it in the fridge!

For fresher, crisper apples, leave them in the fridge!

To get rid of a bad odor (and fruit flies), leave a bowl of vinegar out for a few hours!

To remove grease stains from clothes, use dish soap on the stain before washing!

For a quick, easy way to clean your oven simply put vinegar in a spray bottle and spray the bottom of the over and then sprinkle with baking soda. The mixture bubbles up and even the most tough grease will wipe off easily.

For a quick easy way to clean the inside of your microwave, use a bowl of water with fresh lemon juice and heat for about a minute. Your microwave wipes clean and smells fresh too!

For an instant stain remover, dab stain with a baby wipe as soon as the stain appears!
