I don't get it!?!?

So I'm looking at this myspace page of a girl I used to work with (not a K-House) and she's 24 years old and has a beautiful 3 year old boy. All her "status" messages or "updates", she has written that she is drinking beer. And most of them include that her son is gone with her twin sister and her most recent message states that she is "drinking beer while watching her son, her neicesa, and other brats". Now, she also thinks it's funny when her son picks up an empty beer bottle and puts it to his mouth and starts to drink out of it, especially if there's a little bit left in it. I met her when her son was almost a year old and he was crawling around and doing it then. Her apartment was trashed and the floor was covered with beer bottles. No wonder he was "into" them. And her twin sister has a picture of her daughter drinking out of a Bud can with a caption underneath it that says, "It's empty". Her daughter just turned 2. Now I don't see the humor in either situation. The sister with the little girl is generally a great mother, but I don't know how i can ever say that when she's got pictures of her daughter "drinking" out of "empty" beer cans. I just know that she loves that little girl and that, that little girl is her life! She's adorable and has beautiful RED hair! I just don't get some people.
